Australian Pairs Day

The season is nearly over so let’s all get together for a final fun day bash.

Pairs can be ladies, men or mixed. Minimum of 12 pairs or the sky's the limit.

£12 per pair, including lunch [profits for the Ditch Fund]. Non bowlers welcome at the cost of £5.

In Australian Pairs (Aussie Pairs), a two-player team alternates the roles of "Lead" and "Skip" within each end, with each player delivering four bowls.

On odd-numbered ends, the Leads begin by delivering two bowls each, then the Skips play their four bowls after the players swap ends, and finally, the Leads deliver their remaining two bowls.

On even-numbered ends, the roles are reversed, with the Skips starting and then the Leads.

Sign up on the mixed notice board and put money in letterbox by bar as usual please.
