BBWE Open Day at LILLINGTON BC

Sharp early morning rain turned into dry, often warm sunny weather which helped us to achieve a successful and enjoyable event.

FYI, a total of 33 adults and 14 children were registered as attendees on the day – children’s ages ranging between 3 and 14 years.

For adults:
Age 18-35 - 4 people
Age 35-55 - 15 people
Age 55-70 - 11 people
Age 70+ - 3 people

On behalf of the club and your coaching team it gives me great pleasure in thanking most sincerely everyone who contributed in any way to the day’s success from managing the Tombola; supporting coaches on the green; serving refreshments; baking cakes; bar work and those members who turned up to join in and support where needed.

That is not to mention the tremendous response from members to donate prizes for this years’ Tombola in aid of Cancer Research UK, where the significant sum of £183 was raised including £40 refreshment donations. We hope todays experience and the expertise and customary friendly reception provided by our club members will encourage many to return for further coaching.
