It is my sad duty to inform you that President Mike Thomas’ wife Judy died peacefully on Tuesday morning, 10th September. On behalf of all members and friends I send our sincere condolences to Mike and his family at this sad time.

Finals Weekend

The Bowls Committee would like to thank all those who helped to make our Finals Weekend well supported. Thank you to the bar volunteers and to Grace and Pat for serving the countless cups of tea and coffee. Thank you to President Mike for presenting the trophies, the Green team who cut and prepared the Green, to Chris for Umpiring for the duration, and Dave Print and Paul Sayer for the photography each day. Thank you to everyone who made and brought in the many delicious cakes. Finally a big thank you to all those who came along to support all our finalists. It is all much appreciated.

President vs Captains Gala

This is the final call for anyone wanting to join in our final Club Gala of the season on Sunday 22nd September at 2pm. For catering purposes, we need to have all names by 5pm this Saturday. You can add your name to the sheet, online or contact Helen or Steve directly if you would like to bowl or support the event. All members are welcome. The cost is £3 for all which includes sandwiches & cakes, and the dress code is casual.
