Pam Ponting is holding her annual Easter craft day on Saturday 22nd March, 10 till 12 noon. Discover your crafty side and come along and make something.

There will also be things to buy, so all welcome.

Fancy a Drink?

More Volunteer Bar Stewards Needed

If you fancy a drink after a game of bowls we have a well stocked bar in the clubhouse run by bar volunteers. The rota of volunteer bar stewards for the forthcoming season is currently being drawn up but we need more volunteers. The current team have done a great job but were not able to cover everything last season. The income from the bar is a very important part of the club’s revenue and helps to keep our annual subscriptions down but we need to run a bar whenever there is something going on at the club. Full training will be given to any newcomers so please, if you would like to help with the bar, get in touch with Sid Solanki or myself as soon as possible.

If you would like to help but can only cover certain times then we can take that into account when drawing up the rota The more members we have on the rota the fewer sessions everyone will have to do. Every member is expected to volunteer at some time in some way, either on a cleaning team, the green team, as a bar steward or one of the many other jobs in the club so please get in touch if you think you can help.
