If any couples or ladies would like to enter please enter an envelope clearly marked with your name(s) and the relevant competition with payment of £3 per person by Monday 26th May latest.

Please add your name or message Helen next week for the captains to confirm the game.

Mixed Game Thursday 22nd May - Avenue Away

All members who put their names down are playing.

Please tick your names off on sheet and if going direct put a D instead off a tick. Meeting at club at 5.30pm as free parking is a problem, so members can car share. The road is closed at the back of club so use the gate on Avenue Road to get into club.

Bowls Big Weekend - Request for Helpers Please

Dear Members,

May I gently remind you that our BBWE Open Day is just over a week away. Many thanks to those members who already have volunteered but there are still quite a few vacant slots in the “Help List” located in the club foyer covering; bowler support, serving refreshments, managing the Tombola tickets and lunchtime bar. So, if you are available to support the day in any one of these ways please add your name to the list or speak with me directly.

To make a success of the Tombola in support of Cancer Research UK we do need more prizes so if you do have those odd things in a dark corner which are suitable to donate they would be very, very welcome (either drop into the club or contact me directly if need collecting).

Please note this is a club event open for all to come along with family and friends to join in during the day.

Once again thank you for your support,

Best wishes,
John
