NOTIFICATION OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2024

The Annual General Meeting of Lillington Bowling Club will be held on Saturday 7th December commencing at 10am.

There are still vacancies for President, Chairman, Management Committee Member, Vice Captains, Assistant Competition Secretary, Assistant Recruitment Officer, amongst others. The Social Committee would like a lot more members to put their names forward. This is a very good way to support the club. The nomination sheet will remain on the notice board until the AGM so you still have time to add your name as a volunteer to any of these positions.

On completion of the AGM there will be an Open Forum where members can raise any further issues they would like to discuss.

Please make every effort to attend.

GAMES NIGHT FRIDAY 15th NOVEMBER.

Fun and games with a light supper of hot dogs.

Please add your name to the list on the Social Notice Board in the club house.

We need more names on the list to make the evening viable.  A great deal of work and planning goes into organising these events and it is disappointing when we don’t get your support.

If you can’t get to the club to put your name down contact me by phone or email and l will add your name to the list however you will have to pay for your food by the Monday 11th (in an envelope through the club post box marked GAMES EVENING).

CHRISTMAS SOCIAL EVENT 13th DECEMBER

At our annual Christmas social event we like to have some form of entertainment. We would be extremely grateful if someone would feel able to co ordinate the event and organise the entertainment for us.  Especially as we will be busy organising the food and clearing up. It can be as simple or ambitious as you like from individual poems and stories to a full blown pantomime.
