Race Night - Friday 18th October

In preparation for the upcoming horse race night, I will be selling horses at the Andy Hughes event this coming Sunday.

Horses will cost £3 each and there are 56 available. As in previous years the horses for the final race will be auctioned on the night.

Please support your club and this event by becoming an owner.
Cash only please - I cannot take cards or cheques.

As a responsible owner, you will, of course, be expected to keep your horse well fed and trained daily until the big night!!

Bill Fakey and Derek Forster

I have the sad duty of informing you that two former members of the Club, Bill Fakey and Derek Foster have recently passed away. Both Bill and Derek were active members of the club and Derek was President in 2014. If I receive any details of Derek’s funeral arrangements I will pass these on. Bill Fakey’s family have provided the following details:

“Bill sadly passed away on 2nd July 2024. His funeral will take place on Tuesday 30th July at 11am in St Mary’s Church Cubbington followed at 12:30 in Oakly Wood, South Chapel. The Wake will be at the Heathcote in Whitnash, all welcome.”
