This week at LBC ...
Rheams Trophy
The competition on Sunday was great, weather was good to us and I hope all players enjoyed the day.

REMEMBER NEXT YEAR … This is the only competition for mixed pairs [not married couples]. Only 8 couples entered; 16 members. We have over 100 bowlers???

Mens Cov 6 Success
Congratulations this week to the Mens Cov 6 league team who have won their division and gain promotion to Division C next season.
Well done Team. 👏
Last Mens Game
The last men's game of the season takes place on Wednesday 10th September away at Leamington Spa at 2pm. Please add your names by next Friday if you can play.
Finals Weekend
The last Semi finals will take place this week to decide our finalists for this years Lillington's Finals Weekend. The finals take place on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th September. The finals schedule will be available from next weekend.
Please come along and support all our finalists. We guarantee an exciting weekend of great bowls, and a barbecue and refreshments available for all. If anyone would like to make a cake please bring them on the day.
Mens Meeting
Captain Steve would like to invite all men bowlers new and established to attend the mens meeting on Tuesday 7th October at 7pm at the club. Please come along to discuss the closing season and share ideas for 2026. The bar will be open from 6.30.
Annual Mixed Crown Green Matches
The dates for the matches against Kenilworth are:- Sunday 31st August 2pm at home and Sunday 21st September 2pm away.

It is with deep sadness I have to inform you that Jim Melville's wife Moya passed away on 19th August at the Marie Curie hospice. Details of the cremation to follow when known.
