It’s the Bowls Big Weekend!

Do come along on Sunday and support your club at this important event. It’s designed to encouraging people to try the game of bowls and perhaps join the club as a new member.

As a club member, your help in any way will be appreciated. You could give bowler support on the green, help serve refreshments, manage the Tombola tickets and the lunchtime bar.

To make a success of the Tombola in support of Cancer Research UK, we do need more prizes so if you do have those odd things in a dark corner which are suitable to donate they would be very, very welcome.

Please note this is a club event open for all to come along with family and friends to join in during the day. Once again thank you for your support.

Markers Courses

Friday 6th June 4pm [after gala] & Sun 08 June, 2025

Don't forget to put your names down for the upcoming markers’ courses.

You don't have to be a marker but it is a must to see how to measure the easiest way.

Also I have not yet received many members who have sent their details to be on our list of available markers.

Watering our Hanging Baskets

The hanging bags and baskets in the car park have now been put up. I am away next week and these need to be watered once a day.

If you go to the club and are willing to water them, please do so. I would rather they are watered 3 times a day than none. If the bar is open, please use the large jug on top the shelf over the sink.
