Club Competitions

The first round matches of the mens Club Singles Championship must be played by next Sunday 30th June. If matches are not completed in time both players may be disqualified from the competition.

Fixtures

We still need more names for the mixed game at Rugby Thornfield on Saturday 6th July and the home game to Warwickshire County Council on Thursday 11th July. Please add your name by Wednesday 26th if possible in order to guarantee a game.

The ladies game against Avenue Leamington has been cancelled.

We have a mixed fixture, travelling away to Woburn Sands on Thursday 8th August. We need a minimum 18 bowlers if possible. The sheet is now on the mixed board. We will car share so please advise if you are happy to drive or will need a lift. Thank you.

Good news

Good luck to Mark Ritchie, Colin Daly, John Henfrey and Steve Poole who have reached the quarter finals of the County Senior Fours. They play at Avenue Coventry on Friday 28th.

Lillington’s Health & Safety

A few months ago, I asked all members to send me a name and phone number for emergency only. This will be kept in a sealed envelope and only used for this purpose.

This week a member was unwell on the green and when checking the list this member had not given any contact number other than their own mobile number.

Out of 158 members 40 members replied to my first message. As you can see this is for your own health and safety that the club has a contact for you.

So can you please email me with the NAME and PHONE NUMBER of a person who can be contacted in case of an emergency. If you cannot remember if you did it the first-time round, please do it again.
