Bowls Big Weekend - this Sunday

A special event on the day …

At 11am on Sunday Morning, during our Open Day, our President, Mike Thomas will be welcoming from Guide Dogs for the Blind, Derek and Anita with Derek’s retired dog Zelda and new guide dog Moose to recognise the closure of Name a Puppy project. The club winner of the GDfB agreed Puppy names will be announced together with the amount raised.

Please come along if possible to share in this special occasion.

Tuesday Galas

The Gala on 28th May will run as normal alongside a men’s Coventry 6 match. Ian Henderson will be running this.

The Gala on 4th June will have to be cancelled to make way for the next round of the National Men’s Top Club. This is necessary because of Lillington’s success in their first round against Royal Leamington Spa. Lillington will be playing against Welford at 6.00pm that evening, so please come along and support the team.

Upcoming Fixtures

Please remember to add your names for games, online or on the Team Sheet. You must then check to see if you have been selected to play and confirm your availability. Please message the captain if you are unable to confirm online or on the sheet.

The two fixtures with Corley Ladies (29th May and 18th July) have been cancelled. There is no Ladies fixture on 19th June.

Lillington’s County & National Competitions

Please come along and support the forthcoming county and national competitions for the club

1. Friday 24th May - Mens Ivens Cup team play RLS at home at 6pm

2. Sunday 26th May - Mens County 2-wood competition will take place at Royal Leamington Spa

3. Monday 27th May - Mens County triples team playing at home at 6pm.

4. Tuesday 28th May - Tony Allcock Team A playing at Royal Leamington Spa at 6pm

5. Thursday 30th May - Tony Allcock Team B will play Warwick Boat Club at home at 2pm.

6. Friday 31st May - Mens Cov 6 League game will be at home at 6pm.

7. Saturday 1st June - Mens Club 2 Fours competition 10am at home to Welford.

8. Tuesday 4th June - Ladies National Top Club Match at Royal Leamington Spa at 6pm.

9. Wednesday 5th June - Ladies County Top Club team games at home 2pm and away at Bilton at 6pm.
