Start of Coaching, Bowls Big Weekend & Cubbington School
Start of Monday Evening Coaching - May 6th
Bowls Big Weekend Open Day - Sunday 29th May
A gentle reminder that the coaching sessions for all members begins on the 6th to assist with any refresher areas of your game. Also, if you have any friends or family that would like to give bowls a try then please invite them along.
Just 4 weeks to our Bowls Big Weekend Event and your kind assistance is most earnestly requested to ensure smooth running on the day. My thanks to members who have already entered their name on the “HELP” list located on the right of the “mixed” notice board in the foyer but we do need additional names of bowlers to support the coaching team on the green; to serve refreshments, man the bar so if you can spare some time for any of these roles could you please add name to the list.
If you or your family have access to social media platforms and would like to help promote these events to a wider audience then please find below links to enable you to download as required:

This time we are running a tombola where are seeking a lot more prizes. So please, if you do have any suitable items tucked away which you are happy to donate then these will be very gratefully received. These may be left at the club marked for my attention or if you prefer I can collect – you can contact me via the details below any time to arrange this or if you have any other question about the event.
Thank you in anticipation of your support.

Cubbington C of E Primary School
Your Coaching Team made four weekly visits to this school during March to introduce their Yr4 pupils to our game of bowls with soft play equipment.
The enthusiasm of our coaching team was matched by the energy and no little skill by the pupils who seemed to thoroughly enjoy the sessions.
Check out the photo on our website (News & info) and our club Notice Board.
As a follow-on we will be entertaining many of them on post school visits during May Monday afternoons so please come along and take a look.
