LADIES COUNTY COMPETITIONS 2025

The Draws for all the Ladies County Competitions are now available to view online on the WWBA website. Please check any competitions you have entered for draws and play on/play by dates. Full details will be available in the WWBA County Handbook.

SOUTH WARWICKSHIRE COMPETITIONS & FIXTURES 2025

Entry forms for the South Warwickshire Competitions are available on the Mens and Ladies Boards. As last year the competitions are Men & Ladies singles. All other competitions are open to any combination of players.These competitions are open to all club members and good experience for newer bowlers.
FORMS MUST BE RETURNED WITH PAYMENTS BY MONDAY 14TH APRIL (Cheques payable to Lillington Bowling Club - Address envelope For Attention Of Helen Ellicott - SW COMPS) (One entry form per pair, triple and rink - £4 per person, per competition)

A copy of Fixtures for this year's South Warwickshire Games are displayed on the Mens and Lades Boards. The availability forms for Ladies to play are due out soon and will be added to the Ladies Board. Lillington is proud to be hosting the South Warwickshire Finals and the Presidents Match this year as Fred Bannister takes office as their 2025 President. Good luck and best wishes to Fred.

Award for Jenny Corn

Certificate of Merit

We attended the Bowls England Aviva Awards dinner in Leicester at the weekend and although Warwickshire didn’t win anything in the 3 categories they were short listed for, Jenny Corn received a Certificate of Merit for her many years dedication to bowls.

She has bowled for nearly 50 years. Many of those years serving on the County Committee and as a player. She has been the County Match secretary for the last 20 years. It was a total surprise to her, although we, the county committee, knew it was coming.

This is a great achievement for Jenny and club and county.
