Players Needed For South Warwickshire President's Match
A reminder we need 24 bowlers for this game on Sunday 13th July. This is a friendly fixture against a team of bowlers from clubs in the South Warwickshire area on behalf of President Fred Bannister. The game will be followed by a meal. Please come and support by putting your name down on the list on the Mixed Board as soon as possible.
Mens Games
We need more names for the game at Stoke on Saturday 14th June.
We also need 24 men for the Jacobs Trophy game at home to Three Spires on Saturday 28th June. The home and away fixures played with Three Spires are played for a trophy for the winning Men and a plate for the Ladies given by Sue Hornsby and husband Keith in memory of their grandson Jacob. Please can men and ladies look ahead and put your names down for all games you can play.
Thank you.
Gala Cancelled
Lillington Ladies will be playing in the National Top Club competition at home on Tuesday 1st July at 6pm. Therefore there will be NO Tuesday GALA ON 1ST JULY but we hope you will come along and support our ladies who play Welford ladies that evening.
Car Parking
Please can we ask all members to please use both car parks when parking at the Bowling Club. If the main car park is full or you are travelling to an away game, please park in the bottom car park. This is to help avoid an excess of vehicles parked on Lime Avenue. Thank you in anticipation.
Regards
Helen
More help needed for the Green Team

The green team need more members. The club relies totally on volunteers to keep the club running and every member of the club should at some time volunteer in some capacity to help out. The green team is a great way to make a contribution. We only ask for your help when commitments allow.
The green team are an informal group of members who keep the club’s green and surrounding grounds in tip top condition. We are assisted by our Greens Maintenance Contractor, Avonmore, who visit on a monthly basis to carry out the major works.
The team meet every Monday morning to undertake the many jobs needed around the club. At around 10:00am we sit down for coffee and cake (thanks to the team’s star baker Dave Print) to plan the cutting schedule and rink settings for the coming week. Unfortunately we are struggling to cover all of our tasks without having to ask team members to do extra duties. We currently only have two Duty Greenkeepers whereas in the past we have typically had four. Also there are times when individuals are being called on to cut several time in a week when we would normally expect only one duty. Having more members on the team will greatly help in scheduling our work.
If you would like to help give me a call or just turn up on Monday morning anytime from 8:30am.
