New Bowling Kit

The initial order for our new bowling kit has been finalised and we look forward to receiving it before the start of the season.

Anyone still wanting new kit can place an order with Helen but orders may be subject to minimum numbers and delivery before the start of the season cannot be guaranteed. If you haven’t yet ordered any new kit you can still take advantage of the one off sponsorship discount of £20 per person (until sponsorship funds run out).

Just to remind everyone the updated dress code is available on the website and can be viewed HERE. Please note that the new kit, i.e. club shirt and club trousers, is a requirement for any match where you represent Lillington Bowling Club against players from other clubs.

Volunteer Bar Stewards

The club’s bar is the focal point of après bowls activities and it generates a useful income which helps to keep our membership fees down. The club doesn’t employ anyone so everything to do with running the bar is done by volunteers. If you could help cover any shifts on any particular days please let Helen or myself know as soon as possible. We will train all new volunteers.

Through the season the bar is open on Monday evenings, Tuesday evenings and Wednesday afternoon for the Pickering league teams playing at home. We also open the bar for men’s or mixed bowls home afternoon or evening games and any county games or competitions held at the club. It is also open for all social events. The more volunteers we have the fewer sessions each of us will have to do, so please consider joining the team.
