This week …

Galas are Starting Again

Tuesday Evening Galas

Tuesday Evening Galas will commence on Tuesday 20th May at 6pm. Please arrive by 5.45pm.

The slightly delayed start is due to Lillington A's recent success in the Coventry 6 Cup. Playing a higher ranked team, Lillington beat the Grange (Rugby) by one point, 48-47. It all rested on the very last wood. With Grange holding two woods, Steve Poole was left with one wood on the last end. As it stood Grange would win. With very little room to manoeuvre, Steve duly delivered, displacing the two holding woods for a thrilling victory.

The next round is now scheduled for Tuesday 13th May at Home at 6pm (hence no gala). Do come and watch.

Friday Afternoon Galas

Friday Afternoon Galas will commence on Friday 16th May at 2pm. Please arrive by 1.45pm.

Sheet now up in foyer. Please add your names and put your money in an envelope marked with your name and for “Lunch/Gala”

using the reference ‘Your Name’ + Lunch Gala
Then send an email to - [email protected] with your name/s and state ‘Vegetarian Y/N’ and if you are bowling or not. We will then add your name to the sheet at the club.
