Club Competition Entries

It’s time to enter – the deadline in looming

With just a week left to the deadline, don’t delay in entering this season’s club competitions. There is a wide choice of mens, ladies & mixed competitions to choose from plus a competition for married couples.

Entry forms for all 2024 club competitions are on the Competitions notice board in the clubhouse foyer. To enter …

1. simply complete your form

2. place in an envelope available from the bar counter

3. include your payment in cash or cheque made payable to Lillington Bowling Club

4. mark it for the attention of Competition Secretary Mark Ritchie

5. post it through the letter box to the right of the bar door

Closing date is Friday 10th May.

Competition draws will be made on Tuesday 14th May.
Competition rules can be found on the notice board.

Men’s Cov 6 Team Success

Well done to our Men's Cov 6 team who won their Knockout Cup game against Stoke this week.

Upcoming Matches For You to Support

Please come along and support our teams and individuals in the many matches and competitions this season. During the next week....

• Mens match at home to Bilton this Saturday

• Steve Poole and John Henfrey play in the National Senior Pairs at Warwick Boat Club on Monday at 6pm

• Both Pickering Teams are at home on Wednesday afternoon at 2pm.

• The Men's Ivens team play at home to Welford on Thursday at 6pm. The Ladies play away at Matrix Thursday afternoon.

• Sid Solanki plays in the County Unbadged singles on Friday at Warwick Boat Club at 3pm.

• Helen Ellicott and Steve Poole play in the National Mixed Pairs on Friday at 6pm at Southam.

• Next Saturday the Mens team travel to Bidford while the Ladies play at home to Nuneaton Ladies at 2pm.

Names for Games

A reminder for all bowlers to add your names to the sheets or online availability for any games you can play as soon as possible. Team sheets are now on the boards for May and June. Please also remember to tick your name or check online to confirm your availability once selected.

We currently need more names to play in the Mixed game at Oakfield on Thursday 16th May at 6pm.

The Mixed game at Woburn Sands shown in the Fixture book as Monday 20th May has been rescheduled for Thursday 8th August. We will be looking for a minimum 15 bowlers to travel to Woburn for a friendly fixture with our President Mike Thomas.

The New Kit
