Rink Allocation and Rink Booking

There are a couple of changes to the system this year.

Rink Allocation and Rink Booking

Rink Allocation Discs are located next to the Rink Booking Touchscreen in the snug (opposite the bar).

Rinks for competitions can be pre-booked using the rink booking facility in the Members Area of the Website or on the Touchscreen in the Clubhouse.

Pre-booking must not be used for roll-ups or casual games. Rinks for these are allocated on a “turn up and play basis” and must follow the sequence set each day by the Duty Greenkeeper. It is important to follow the set sequence to ensure even wear of the green.

There are a couple of changes to the system this year:

For roll-ups and casual games, instead of booking on the Touchscreen there is now a clipboard to write in your allocated rink. Please make sure you still use the Touchscreen to check that your allocated rink has not been pre-booked.

Members who have registered in the Members Area of the Website will now have a Registration ID Number which can be used when booking competitions using the Touchscreen in the clubhouse. This will allow their booking to be personalised so that they can edit or delete it later in the Members Area if they need to. It is possible to book a competition using the Touchscreen without a Members ID but any bookings made can only be edited or deleted by an administrator.
